Watch out – its another Watch Cap!

So, following on from the success of my first Watch Cap for Tom, I have now (finally) completed Claudia’s. Trying to take her photo while she was wearing it was not easy though! This is the best I could get…

In other news I have recently discovered the world of Geocaching. Today the kids and I went on our first treasure hunt!

This first cache is really close to home and we walked there. If the weather stays dry tomorrow I think we might go and look for another one which is also within a reasonable walking distance of our house. We’re dragging Daddy along next time too! I think this Geocaching thing is awesome. We walked along paths we didn’t even really know existed, all so close to home. What a great way to explore your surroundings and have fun at the same time. The kiddies and I had a great time and I expect there will be much more treasure hunting over the spring and summer months.

  1. Haha Claudia looks like she is really happy with her new hat!! We found geocaching last year and really enjoyed it too...I found it was a good excuse to get out when men-folk decided that sitting around at home was a better idea ;)

    1. It will certainly encourage us to get out and about more often and give us another thing to do during school hols!
